How to Wash Your Undergarments
If you’re going to invest money in nice and/or fancy undergarments, you should probably treat them well, and by this I mean wash them appropriately. In your everyday hustle and bustle in life, you will be tempted to throw your knickers in with the rest of your clothes on a heavy-duty cycle. This is not the best approach toward preserving your collection.
I recommend the following: try to wash all of your intimate apparel together on a gentle/delicate cycle. No bleach.
Once clean, get a hanger and hang your wet underwear and/or bras to dry. Putting them in the dryer will only thrash your intimate apparel. I like to get a hanger and hang a few on there. They’ll dry overnight.
I have a large collection of g-strings and intimate apparel, so I am able to stretch out the shelf life on my undergarments by simply rotating what I wear. If you wear the same underwear weekly and subject them to the wear and tear of washing, they’ll disintegrate quickly.
